Emerald and diamond necklace

The circular-cut emerald weighing 6.31 carats within a double row border of circular-cut diamonds, to a later chain set to the front with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 405mm.

Chain stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. According to the SSEF report the emerald measures approximately 16.04 - 16.64 x 2.97 mm and is green of medium strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching; for further information, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 11.00 - 12.00 carats, on average of G-I colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, two prongs missing on emerald mounting but stone is safe in the setting. In good condition.
