The cushion-shaped ruby framed within a double row of single-cut diamonds, the bifurcated shoulders similarly embellished, size 53.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. According to the SSEF report, the ruby measures approximately 11.30 x 8.75 x 6.90 mm, and weighs approximately 6.50 carats and is of purplish red of medium strong saturation. The ruby with good transparency, with typical crystal inclusions, few very minor abrasions to facet edges visible under x10 magnification, minor abrasion to culet. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In good condition.
