Description

Of giardinetto design, set with carved emeralds and sapphires, circular- and single-cut diamonds of yellow and near colourless tint, accented with black enamel, hinged pendent bail.

Condition

Please note that the diamonds of yellow tint have not been tested for natural colour. Sapphires and emeralds well matched in colour, with some scratches and abrasions. Black enamel in good condition, enamel to bottom with areas of loss. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.20 carats, on average of H-J colour (few of more yellowish tints) and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Brooch pin secured with sliding safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
