Catalogue Note

The fleur-de-lys motif is most notably recognized in the coat of arms of the Royal House of Bourbon, 16th century rulers of Navarre and France. By the 18th century, members of the Bourbon dynasty also held thrones in Spain, Sicily, Naples and Parma. Today, Spain and Luxembourg currently have Bourbon monarchs.
