Composed of seventeen rows of seed pearls, highlighted at intervals with spacers set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 330mm.

Provenance

Originally worn by Infanta Amalia Philippina of Spain (b.1834-1905), wife of Prince Adalbert of Bavaria (b.1828–1875).

Condition

Diamonds estimate to weigh a total of approximately 4.00 - 5.50 carats, as gauged in mounting, bright and lively. Seed pearls of cream body colour with good lustre, some with greenish overtones, some with purplish-pink overtones. Holes in metal dividers allow for one more possible strand. Clasp secure. Signs of light wear to the metal, signs of tarnish consitent with age and use. In good condition.
