The evening bag composed of a gold basket weave mesh, a twisted rope chain handle, the thumbpiece set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the interior fitted with a mirror, French assay and maker's marks; the necklace composed of a pear- and cushion-shaped citrines, highlighted with oval gemstones of light green tint and gold florette motifs, length approximately 440mm.
Condition
The necklace: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. The citrines clean to the naked eye, well matched in colour, few slight nicks and abrasions to surface visible with 10x magnification. The oval gemstones of light green tint also clean to the naked eye, good transparency. Clasp secure, safety catch. Normal signs of wear to the metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
The bag: Stamped with 750 and French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Maker's mark 'PL' between two stars. Mirror in very good condition. Diamonds bright and lively. Total weight of the bag is approximately 340.50 grams. Few signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition.
