Ruby and diamond ring, monture, Boucheron

Of bombé form, set to the centre with a cabochon ruby, surrounded with circular-cut diamonds, size 45, signed monture Boucheron, French assay and partial maker's mark.

Stamped 750 and with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Monture Boucheron with partial maker's mark. Ruby measuring approximately 12.7 x 9.9 x 7.2 mm, well saturated, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, few cavities. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.60 - 2.40 carats, bright and lively. One claw on ruby claw-set mounting misaligned. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition.
