Green beryl and ruby ring, Suzanne Belperron, circa 1960

Set to the centre with a heart-shaped green beryl, surrounded to the front with circular-cut rubies, size 50^1/2, French assay and maker's mark for Darde & Fils, one ruby is synthetic.

Beryl clean to the naked eyes, minor nicks and abrasions. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions, some with scratches and nicks. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
