Description

  • Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.
  • PERIDOT, SAPPHIRE, DIAMOND, KARAT GOLD
Centring on an oval peridot weighing approximately 13.00 carats, to a stylised radiating surround set with circular-cut pink sapphires and diamonds, the pink sapphires and diamonds together weighing approximately 10.50 and 1.00 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed, with pendant fitting.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the peridot has pleasing oval outline, of intense yellowish green colour, eye clean and lively. Under 10X magnification, there are natural fingerprints to the side, not noticeable to loupe check and not seen to naked eyes. Pink sapphires are of slightly deep, vivid pink colour, lively, clean to naked eyes. Diamonds are probably of E to F colours, VVS to VS clarity. This 'Fireworks' brooch is from Tiffany's 1993 collection. Signed 1993 Tiffany & Co. This design has been illustrated in various jewellery magazines and Tiffany books, representing an important creation by Paloma Picasso. Condition: This brooch is offered without reserve. Karat gold mount, with pendant loop on its back, overall in very good condition.
