Description
- sapphire, diamond, platinum
Simply set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 11.06 carats, flanked by circular-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 5
Condition
Colour and Clarity: Please note that the Kashmir sapphire has been remounted. According to Gübelin, AGL and GRS (photographed in previous mounting) reports, the sapphire is natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by Gübelin report and appendix (in previous mounting) dated 19 May 2010, stating that the sapphire "possesses a richly saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency, and a finely proportioned cut... Such a combination of characteristics is very rare in natural Kashmir sapphires of this size, and makes this unique gemstone a true rarity." Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the sapphire is of medium, intense velvety blue colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are a few fingerprints, not seen to naked eyes. Tiny diamonds on the shank are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Platinum ring mount, in very good condition.
