The rectangular vanity case, set with a concealed mirror exterior overlaid with carved openwork plaque of butterflies, flowers and leaves studded with cabochon rubies, opening to reveal a hinged compartment for powder and a mirror, mounted in 18 karat pink gold and silver, signed and numbered BT No 875012; and a brooch designed as a pansy, set with blue guilloché enamel petals, embellished by flower centres and leaves set with brilliant-cut diamonds to a baguette diamond-set stem, mounted in 18 karat white gold, signed.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: Vanity case signed Boucheron, Paris and numbered BT No 875012 and engraved 60.493 on powder compartment. Interior fitted with powder screen on one side and mirror on the other. Stamped with French assay marks, weighing approximately 205 grams. Brooch signed Boucheron, Paris with French assay marks. Blue enamel on brooch chipped on some edges, not noticeable to naked eyes. Diamonds estimated to weigh 0.85 carats, about G-H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Some tarnishing on vanity case and discoloration, scratches consistent with use. Brooch in good condition with signs of normal wear.
