8vo (223 x 137mm.), 2 volumes, first edition in book form, bound from the original parts, with stab marks visible, half-titles, 32 engraved plates and 32 engraved initial vignettes by Marcus Stone, green sand-grained cloth, covers blocked in blind, spine lettered in gilt, pale yellow endpapers, in a green folding box by Zaehnsdorf for E. Joseph, upper cover vol.1 slightly stained, hinges vol.1 beginning to split, spines slightly chipped at head and foot.
