Condition
The paper is in good condition. The paper losses and tears are due to the expanding and contracting of the canvas and stretcher. It is a heavyweight paper and should be removed from the stretcher and canvas to stabilize the paper and pigments. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Mary Kearns Paper Conservation)
