Condition
This work is in generally good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The paint layer is stable. Craquelure is present within the white robe of the figure sitting in the extreme right figure of the composition. Under ultraviolet inspection, a varnish is apparent. A small, isolated cluster of in-painting is present in the extreme lower left quadrant directly below the figure in white on the extreme left. An isolated area of in-painting is also present in the center quadrant, directly below figures dressed in black and white robes.
