Condition

This oil painting on copper has been quite recently restored. The copper panel is only slightly dented in the upper right and lower right corners. The paint layer seems to be cleaned and varnished. There is no abrasion to the paint layer, and even the gilding throughout the picture is original and undamaged. Under ultraviolet light, it can be seen that a few small spots of retouching have been applied in the pale clouds surrounding the figures, but the condition is very good overall.
