Condition
This work is unlined. The stretcher is probably original. The artistÂ’s unique technique is on full view,
with all of his scraping and scratching clearly evident. There may be a small loss in the lower center
about a quarter of an inch from the bottom edge. The white spot above the mouth may actually be a small paint loss. The work is otherwise in beautiful condition.
