Condition
The canvas is unlined and loosely-stretched. Concentrated areas of paint loss are present in upper right quadrant, specifically above the right section of trumpets; in the center of the right edge of the canvas; in the center of the left edge of the canvas. A horizontal line of discoloration and slight peeling of the medium, measuring approximately five-inches in length, is present above the center of the bottom edge. Brown, circular discolorations/accretions are present in the lower left quadrant near the bottom edge; in the upper left corner near the upper left edge; on the extreme right edge in the upper right quadrant. Under ultraviolet inspection, a concentrated three-inch area of in-painting is present near the center of the right edge. Additionally, a four-inch circular area of in-painting is present below the artist signature in the lower right quadrant. Overall, this work is in generally good condition.
