of pear outline, both sides chased with bands of formal foliage, one side engraved in Hebrew with biblical verses and a memorial dedication, terminated with fish, the centers with Hebrew inscriptions and date, hung with numerous pear shaped bells, the staves chased with repeating flowers in relief

The dedication reads translated "Dedicated to the synagogue for the ascent of the soul of the young man, the precious Matitya, son of David Weill". Center inscriptions read "The crown of the Torah is beautiful and precious" and "Dedicated in the month of Adar in the year 1934".
