the arched backplate chased with heart-shaped panel centered by a menorah, flanked by columns supporting vases of flowers, now surmounted by a cartouche engraved in Hebrew "Miracle of Hanukah" within a wreath, the sides chased with exotic birds, the base applied with two spread-winged birds and later eagle displayed, the back with a door for access to rack of later monster-head lamps, on massive paw feet
