Description

  • overall height 21 1/2 in., height of figures (approx) 13 3/4 in.
  • 54.7cm, 35cm
comprised of five large scale carved ivory figures in medieval costume around a table bearing a lamb, root vegetables and utensils, all on a carved wood stand, front with ivory plaque carved with Hebrew inscription "It is the Passover of the Lord" from Exodus 12:25

Condition

age cracks to all ivory figures, staff missing from one figure, an item missing from the hand of another, tip of one shoe broken off, two figures visibly glued to stand, stand requires two wood dowels and has minor chips throughout
