Catalogue Note

Menahot (meal-offerings), deals with the issues surrounding the various meal-offerings in the Temple. These include the ingredients of the meal-offering (flour, oil, wine, etc.) and the manner in which they were processed and prepared, including valuable information on the liquid and dry measures used in the Temple.

Rabbenu Asher al ha-Hilkhot Ketanot comprises the commentary of Asher ben Yehiel (Rosh) to the laws of Torah Scrolls, Tzitzit, Tefillin, Mezuzah, Halah, Orlah, and Kilayim. Daniel Bomberg included these with the first edition of the Talmud, a practice followed in most subsequent editions.
