Condition

Oil on lined canvas. The lining has been applied so that it reveals the inscription on the verso of the original canvas. The picture surface is in generally good condition aside from surface dirt and a very fine, stable web of craquelure. Under UV light, there are areas of inpainting scattered across the right side of the composition. Some of the pigments, notably the red pigments to the left, fluoresce under UV light.
