Condition

Painted on buff colored wove paper mounted on board. Board is stable. The edges of the paper have been taped and the seam is visible, though this is part of the artist's original preparation. Surface is slightly dirty and there are some thin cracks in the thickest black pigment. Under UV light numerous original pigemnts and an uneven varnish fluoresce. There appear to be some small spots of inpainting at the upper left corner but no other significant restorations are visible. Good condition.
