Condition
Original canvas, not laid down. The canvas has been strip-lined to re-enforce small holes in the corners. A close inspection reveals some old frame abrasion and a small patch of restoration, visible from the reverse, above the rooftops of the lower left quadrant. Examination under UV light reveals strokes of inpainting along the extreme edges, notably along the left edge and in the upper right corner, as well as a few small strokes of inpainting above the smoke stack in the center of the composition. Otherwise, this work is in good condition.
