Condition

The canvas is not lined. The pigments are rich and vibrant. Thin lines of horizontal cracking are faintly visible throughout the composition. Under UV light: certain pigments fluoresce, including the petals of the flowers in the lower left part of the bouquet. Some strokes of inpainting are visible at the center of the door at the extreme right edge, and less so in the shadows on the ground at bottom left, as well as one nail-head sized spot at the extreme center top edge. No other inpainting is apparent though a thick layer of varnish is difficult to read through. This work is in good condition.
