Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in two places at the upper edge, and floating. The upper edge is slightly unevenly torn and there are some minor creases throughout the sheet. The sheet is very slightly time-stained and there is a tiny black stain to the right of the vase (possibly a studio stain). Otherwise, this work is in overall very good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the ink is more staurated in the original and the original shows no sign of the pale horizontal line (between bottom of vase and signature) that appears in the printed catalogue illustration.
