Condition

The work is in very good condition. The canvas has not been lined. The pigments are fresh and vibrant and the impasto has been well preserved. A layer of varnish is slightly yellowed and there are thin but stable lines of cracking visible within the light blue and white pigments in the sky. Under UV light: a couple extremely minor spots of inpainting are visible to the extreme top edge, but no other restoration is apparent.
