Condition

The canvas has not been lined. The colors are bright and fresh and the impasto has been well preserved. Thin lines of stable cracking are visible scattered throughout. Pigment has been lost in two pindot spots toward the center left of the sky as well as in two places in the water at bottom left. Frame abrasion is visible to the extreme outer edges of the composition. Under UV light: certain pigments flouresce particularly in the sky at upper left and center right. Some inpainting is possible in these areas but a varnish prevents a conclusive analyis. Overall the work is in good condition.
