Condition

Oil on board laid down on cradled panel. The surface features very nice texture, especially considering that the paint layer is quite thin in other places, allowing the bare panel to figure in the composition. Minor losses have occurred to the panel along the bottom edge and extreme top left corner, and a few minor lines of cracking are visible to the bottom right corner. Under UV light: nailhead-sized spots of retouching are visible, including in the brown pigment of the figure's collar at left as well as along the top center and right center edges. The work is in good condition.
