Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick layer of varnish that prevents the UV light from fully penetrating. However UV examination does reveal some scattered spots of retouching to the foliage of the left most green tree and on the grass beneath the seated figure. Towards the extreme right corner there is a small area of retouching. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition.
Colour: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
