Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is some stable paint shrinkage to the green pigments with some associated retouching, mainly to the left half of the green background, the right edge and some further specks to her shirt, all visible under UV light, and which could be substantially reduced with restoration. There does not appear to be any retouching visible in her flesh tones or face. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition. Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
