Condition

Painted on paper, laid down on canvas. There is an uneven varnish which causes some areas to fluoresce under UV light, but there do not appear to be any retouchings. There is a very gentle undulation to the centre of the work, some artist's pin holes along the upper edge, two to the centre right edge and some minor creases in places due to the laying down process. There is some stable paint shrinkage in places, some fly spots and general light surface dirt. This work might benefit from a clean. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Overall slighty lighter in the original when compared to the printed catalogue illustration.
