Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick layer of varnish that prevents the UV light from fully penetrating. However UV examination does reveal a tiny spot of retouching towards the upper right corner. There are a few fine lines of cracquelure in places and some scattered fly spots. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Overall the colours are warmer and more subtle in the original than the printed catalogue illustration.
