Painted on card laid on cradled-panel. The panel is sound, though it is very slightly bowed. There is an unvenen varnish which causes some areas to fluoresce, most notably to the area just above the bouquet and upper left corner. UV examination does reveal some intermittent retouchings to parts of all four edges and some tiny specks to the vase and background, but none to the flowers themselves. There are some minor creases and indentations in places due to the laying down process. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: overall fairly accuarte in the printed catalogue though slightly brighter in the original.
