Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is a thick varnish through whcih the UV light cannot fully penetrate but there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. This work appears to be in overall very good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall lighter in the original.
