Condition
The canvas onto which the sheet is laid down is slightly undulating. There are two artist pin holes to the upper left and right hand corners. There is a thick layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however UV examination does reveal a spot of retouching to some drying cracks in the dark area above the dish and some areas of retouching to the far left hand edge of the dish. There appears to be a couple of minor areas of retouching to the lower left quadrant. Otherwise, this work is in good condition.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly brighter in the original.
