Condition

The panel is sound. UV examination reveals a line of retouching along the upper edge and some further small scattered retouchings in places, mainly to the sky. There is a thin line of frame rubbing to the left edge and some minor surface scratches in places. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the sky is less blue more green in the original.
