Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is some paint shrinkage to the pinks and whites on the sitter's blouse. UV examination reveals three minor spots of paint loss with associated retouching along the lower edge. There is a lovely impasto to the headband. This work is in overall very good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly fresher in the original.
