Condition

Executed on paper, laid down on the artist's mount which is hinged to the overmount at the upper corners. The work is slightly time-stained and there is a gentle undulation to the work. There is a spot of paper skinning at the centre of the upper edge of the artist's mount (visible in the catalogue illustration), and the upper left corner (not visible when framed). There is some minor creasing to the extreme upper left corner of the artist's mount (not visible when framed). There is a spot of foxing to the centre of the extreme right edge of the artist's mount (not visible when framed). There are some tape remnants to the verso due to previous mounting. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly warmer in the original.
