Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals some scattered areas of retouching in places, the most prominent of which is an area to the foliage in the upper right corner (which corresponds to a previous repair), an area to the centre of the upper edge and a small line to the centre of the lower edge. There are some extremely fine lines of craquelure to some of the orange pigments. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall slightly less saturated in the original.
