Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate, but there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. There are a few extremely fine lines of craquelure in places and there is a horizontal stretcher bar mark to the top of the canvas. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condiiton.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall fresher in the original.
