Catalogue Note

From the late 1960s to 1984, Jaures Vasini worked as a porter at the Galerie Maeght in Paris. Vasini clearly developed a strong rapport with Miro, who dashed off the present lot on the inside cover of a Derrière le miroir exhibition catalogue as a personal expression of his gratitude and friendship.
