Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, glued to a card along all four edges. There are a few very small paint losses in places, including a few to the centre of the left edge and ones which relate to small air bubbles in the paint to the righthand man's dark blue suit. There is a very thin line of mount staining to the centre of the lower edge and two very fine surface scratches towards the lower right corner. The sheet is very gently undulated in places, inherent to the artist's watery use of the medium. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the woman's hat is slightly more muted in the original.
