Condition

Executed on cream squared paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount at the upper two corners, and floating in the overmount. The work is executed on one half of a sheet that is folded back on itself. There is a horziontal crease across the centre of the work and two further diagonal creases, radiating from the centre of the work on the right side (all of which are visible in the catalogue illustration). There are a few artist's pinholes to each of the upper corners and a minute crease to the upper left corner and a further few minor creases in places. The sheet is slightly time-stained. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition. Colours: the paper tone and ink is less red in the original.
