Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, attached to the artist's mount at all four corners, which is in turn taped to the window mount on the upper two corners. A window has been cut in the artist's mount so that the image on the verso is visible. The work is slightly time-stained and there is some water staining to the upper left corner of the mount. There are some tape remnants to the lower two corners of the artists' mount and some small repairs to the lower two corners of the sheet itself. There are artist pin holes to all four corners of the sheet and some associated tiny paper losses. There are some minor creases to the artist's mount, and some paper skinning and tape remnants to the verso of the artist's mount. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition. Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the artist's mount is warmer in the original.
