Condition

Collage elements stuck to a photographic base which has been laid down on card. The card has been attached at all four corners to a mount. The edges of the photographic base are slightly unevenly cut and are coming away from the card onto which it is laid in places, curling up slightly at the lower left edge. There are some minor creases to the photographic base, probably due to the laying down process. The collage elements are all secure, though there is some light cracking (craquelure-like appearance) to parts of the upper half of the cartoon collage element with some associated minute paper losses, including a small already repaired paper loss. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall slightly less yellow in the original.
