• Swiss B21 quartz movement, 13 jewels, black and white mother-of-pearl dial with diamond set inner ring, outer applied gold and emerald set Roman and disc numerals, gold and diamond set hands, ruby set bezel, gold and emerald set scallop design border to the bezel, dial and movement set within a spherical fluted rock crystal globe on an elaborate rock crystal waisted column, cascading with a rock crystal pool, surmounted on the stylised fountain are three wonderfully and realistically sculptured gold "Fancy Carp", the gills set with diamonds, emerald set eyes, white gold and diamond set wave design accents, the whole scene mounted on a gold and scroll design base, set throughout with diamonds, emeralds and rubies, on three turned gold feet • case, dial and movement signed
Condition
A spectacular object, visually inspiring and of exhibition museum quality. The carps are fantastically and realistically rendered, workmanship of the highest calibre. Some slight tarnishing to the gold. Dial is clean, movement will require a new battery. Fantastic.

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1991 and sale on September 17th, 1993. The Extract additionally states the clock has diamonds weighing 24.70 carats, rubies weighing 20.94 carats and emeralds 12.38 carats. Total weight of gold is 1748.30 grams. Total weight of the clock is 5.90 kilograms. Further accompanied by an original Patek Philippe travelling box.
