- A VERY RARE YELLOW GOLD, SILVER, DIAMOND, RUBY, MOTHER-OF-PEARL AND NEPHRITE OCTAGONAL DESK CLOCKREF 2042 MVT 8517 CASE 2977293 MADE IN 1989
- height 19.5 cm
• Swiss B21 quartz movement, 13 jewels, mother-of-pearl dial and gold and diamond set hands, octagonal shaped case with nephrite throughout, applied gold Roman numerals set with diamonds, applied baton numerals set with rubies, scalloped shaped accents set with diamonds, the sides with three large cabochon rubies in gold mounts, gold and mother-of-pearl tapered stem set with another large cabochon ruby with diamond border to the front and a large cabochon ruby in plain mount set to the back, on stepped nephrite and gold case • inner casing, dial and movement signed
Condition
A wonderful clock in great condition. No visible blemishes or malfunctions. Dial is intact. Movement will require a new battery.

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1989 and sale on May 18th of the same year. The Extract additionally states the clock has 752 diamonds weighing 25.21 carats, 5 cabochon rubies weighing 40.54 carats and 32 baguette-cut rubies weighing 3.20 carats. Total weight of gold is 794.40 grams. Total weight of silver is 89 grams. Total weight of the clock is 2.78 kilograms. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe travelling case.
