Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it might benefit from a service in the near future. Dial in good condition. Case with one small chip to the bezel and to the back cover. Overall in good condition.

Catalogue Note
With a Patek Philippe presentation box and Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1893 and sale on August 6th 1902. Further remarking the case, with the exception of the pendant and bow, is entirely covered in black enamel 'military style'.
Examples of Patek Philippe fob watches in black enamel cases from the late 19th century are very rare, especially when combined with a black dial. According to our research, this 'military style' fob watch is the first to appear in auction.
