• cal. 17-170 highly engraved gilt jewelled lever movement, barrel cover pierced and engraved with the Calatrava symbol, mono-metallic compensation balance • blackened Cathedral hands • 18k yellow gold case with bat's wing pattern edge, sections of blue enamel decorating both bezels, sapphire cabochon winding crown • movement and case signed
Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion post-sale. The case with slight scuffs throughout and some small scratches to a couple of the enamel panels. Overall this rare and beautiful watch is in good condition. According to our research it is the first time this reference is presented in public auction.
